Tuesday, Feb. 24: Happy Birthday George Thorogood

Happy Birthday today (Feb. 24) to George Thorogood. The blues rocker is 65. Thorogood first gained mainstream exposure back in 1981 opening for the Rolling Stones on their U.S. tour.

With his band, the Deleware Destroyers, Thorogood has sold over 15 million records and celebrated their 40th anniversary last year.

Look for George Thorogood and Brian Setzer on the co-headlining Rockabilly Riot Tour 2015 this summer. Dates include a stop at Beacon Theatre, NYC May 29.
