Tuesday, April 21: Happy Birthday Iggy Pop

Happy Birthday today (April 21) to rocker Iggy Pop. He's 68. Iggy Pop is the leader of the The Stooges who were first active between 1967 and 1974. They later reunited in 2003 and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2010.

The Stooges were influential in the rise of punk rock, along with rock music in general. They ranked number 74 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 100 greatest artists of all time. Check out the video for Iggy Pop 'Lust For Life'.
