Treat Yourself to a Moonwalk Over the Hudson

One of the coolest things I did last month was to take a night time walk on The Walkway Over the Hudson to see the full moon. It was actually a couple of days after the full moon, but it was still stunning. The next Moon Walk on The Walkway Over the Hudson is coming up this Saturday, Nov. 4 from 6 - 8 pm.

The Walkway is not usually open at night, so this is an opportunity to see all the cool lights of Poughkeepsie and Highland in addition to the moon. I must admit, I had not been on the Walkway in quite awhile before last month. It was beautiful. A perfect night with a warm breeze. I can't promise that this Saturday will be as warm, but I am sure it will be just as beautiful. I decided that I need to enjoy the Walkway more often. Maybe this Saturday night will be the perfect time to get up there.

Bicycles, rollerblades, and skateboards are not permitted for this event. The Moonwalk is complimentary for Walkway members. For non-members a donation is suggested. Maybe I will see you there!
