Town of Crawford Police Sergeant Dies

A Town of Crawford police officer has died after searching for a marijuana growing operation in Circleville, according to the Times Herald Record. 

ABC 7 New York reports that 51 year-old Sgt. Eric Meier passed away of an apparent heart attack while on call.

Sgt. Meier was taken to Orange Regional Medical Center in Wallkill where he was pronounced dead.
