Zoo Officials at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo said a mother was dangling her 2-year old son over the rail, when he fell into the cheetah exhibit.

The boy fell about 10 feet in to the cheetah exhibit. His parents jumped in to pull him to safety. Many witnesses say the mother was holding him over the railing.

The boy hurt his leg in the fall, and was treated for bumps and bruises at the hospital.

The Zoo said the cheetahs did not go near the boy or his parents, as reported by The NY Post.
