The Metal Box is a weekly web series posted each Friday where we discuss all things hard rock and heavy metal: news, videos, interviews, live concerts and more.

This week we're talking about Sevendust. The band just played a show at Upstate Concert Hall in Clifton Park this week and released a new album today (May 11). Watch video above.

Sevendust formed out of Atlanta, Georgia in 1994 by bassist Vince Hornsby, drummer Morgan Rose, and guitarist John Connolly. Lead vocalist Lajon Witherspoon and guitarist Clint Lowery joined later and the band released their self-titled debut album in 1997. The band's released three consecutive RIAA gold certified albums, received a Grammy nomination, and have sold millions of records worldwide. A brand new album, All I See Is War (their twelfth studio album) is out today. Check out the video for the first single, "Dirty" below. These guys are still going strong for over 20 years now.
