The Metal Box is a weekly web series posted each Friday where we discuss all things hard rock and heavy metal: news, videos, interviews, live concerts and more.

This week, we’re talking about Ratt featuring Stephen Pearcy, Warren Demartini, and Juan Crucier reuniting.

Ratt formed out of Los Angeles, California and had a successful career with a string of hits during the glam metal scene of the 1980’s. The band is best known for the songs “Round and Round” and “Lay It Down”. Other singles included “Wanted Man”, “You’re in Love” and “Dance” among others. The band went through several hiatuses and lineup changes over the years. Their last studio album was Infestation in 2010. Stephen Pearcy continues to record and tour with a solo band often being billed as Stephen Pearcy: ‘The Voice of Ratt’.
