Tig’s Metal Box: Iron Maiden Announce 2016 U.S. Tour Dates

This week we talk about Iron Maiden and the announcement of U.S tour dates for The Book of Souls 2016 World Tour. The tour will include a stop in NYC March. 30 at Madison Square Garden.

Iron Maiden was formed 1975 out of east London by bassist and primary songwriter Steve Harris. The band were pioneers of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal and achieved initial success in the early 80's, and have had several platinum and gold albums in the UK and U.S including 1982's Number of the Beast.

Iron Maiden released their new album 'The Book of Souls' back on Sept. 4 and received great reviews. It's the band's first double studio album and it was produced by longtime Iron Maiden collaborator Kevin Shirley.
