This morning, most of the Hudson Valley is waking up to a bit more snow than they were expecting. Forecasts called for a coating last night, but many Hudson Valley areas saw enough snowfall to cover roadways and cause school delays and driving challenges.

A ride down Route 9 in Dutchess County early this morning revealed roads that were salted, but still snowcovered. Significantly reduced speed was the main driving tactic for those who had to venture out early in the morning.

We're not expecting any additional snowfall throughout the morning, but temperatures remain below freezing, so drivers should take caution while tackling the morning commute to work.

Many schools have already delayed opening this morning. Check out our database for the full list of school closings and be sure to listen live to Boris & Robyn this morning for the latest road conditions and traffic problems.
