This Week’s Rock News: Get Well Wishes to Phil Lesh

Did you miss rock news this week on The Boris and Robyn Show on 101.5 WPDH?  Not to worry, here is a just recap in case you did.  I love a week where all the rock news is good news, but that is not always the case.  A few sad things to tell you about this week.

Grateful Dead bass player Phil Lesh has been diagnosed with bladder cancer.  The good news is that it looks like it's contained, he's getting treatment, and hopefully he'll be on the road to recovery before we know it.  Also, Corey Wells from Three Dog Night passed away earlier this week.  And Phil Collins has pushed back his reissue campaign while he recovers from emergency surgery.

The good news?  There is some cool new stuff coming out from both Bruce Springsteen and The Scorpions.  So, if you are a fan or if you have a fan on your holiday shopping list, this will make you happy.  Here's this week's rock news in about a minute.
