Liz Dodd from New Orleans is a big Barbara Walters fan. And now, she has the ink to prove it.  Walters retired from "The View" on Friday as ABC aired a special retrospective on her life and career.  WGNO TV reports that Ms. Dodd was impressed by Barbara Walters' 54-year career and decided that this was the perfect way to honor her.

But why a tattoo of the 84-year-old newswoman?

“I’m probably the first woman to get a Barbara Walters tattoo.  She was a pioneer for women all over the world.  Now I’m a pioneer too... She went after her stories like a man.  She was aggressive like a man.  She got it done and proved that women could do it too.  She really had an impact on my generation, and I hope she’s flattered"
