This Beer is Hiding a Surprise Ingredient

Who would have thought this porter from Port Jeff Brewing Company was hiding a secret ingredient? Mitch from Half Time stopped by The Boris & Robyn Show to present our beer of the week and everyone was surprised to learn that it included honey. To round out the sweetness of the beer, Port Jeff uses local organic honey.

According to Mitch, the sugar in the honey is mostly used up during the fermentation process, but what's left is just enough sweetness and honey flavor to balance out the malty beer.
