This App Can Replace Your Dead Pet

A new app called PetMatch claims to have the power to replace your dearly departed pet with a look-alike.  The app uses an algorithm that matches the pet of your choice with thousands of other pets currently up for adoption.  Just upload a photo of fluffy and the app scans specific facial features like the distance between its eyes, mouth and nose.

We didn't have any pets running around this morning to test it out, so we used the next best thing: us.  We took some photos of The Boris & Robyn Show to see if we matched any available pets.  The results?  Well, you can judge for yourself, but we think they match up pretty good.

Unfortunately, the app doesn't work on everyone...

Who knows? Maybe we'll start a new trend of adopting pets that look just like their owners!
