It's election year and we understand that sometimes it can be tiring hearing all the political commercials on TV and the radio. But if you think your local politicians and their ads are absurd, then you haven't seen this. This is from the state of Michigan, and it's US Senate race which pits Republican Terry Lynn Land against the Democratic canidate, Rep. Gary Peters. The Michigan Republican Party is going after Gary Peter's alleged involvement with a convicted felon and do so with this ridiculous (or perhaps, brilliant) commercial. The ad is a take off of the movie Sharknado, which shows a cut out of Peter's head attached to a body wearing a Hawaiian shirt,...while running from a poorly animated CGI tornado full of 'loan sharks'. The Sharknado reference comes from the MI Republicans accusations that Peters is "funded by a convicted felon connected to a loan shark ring run by an international gangster who also contributed to Peters' campaign.."

Who knows? Maybe the accusations are somewhat true, but the ad itself remains hilariously ridiculous. Check it out.
