The Newburgh Sting: Story of the Newburgh Four Comes to HBO

The story of the 2009 arrests of four Muslim men (known as The Newburgh Four) from Newburgh, and their involvement with an alleged terrorist plot, which included planned attacks against flights out of Stewart International Airport and Jewish Synagogues in the Bronx, will being coming to HBO this July. The documentary, which was directed by Kate Davis and David Heilbroner and includes never before seen FBI hidden footage, explores the arrests of the four local men, their involvement with a Pakistani businessman, and raises the question whether or not these men were actually entrapped by an overzealous FBI. The film had previously debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival in April. In 2011 all four men were sentenced to 25 years for their involvement in the planned attacks. Watch the trailer HERE
