Plans are moving ahead for the construction of the $273 million dollar Hudson Valley Wine Village. The development is being planned on an old winery in the town of Lloyd, near the riverfront.

Developers claim the project will bring 1,819 jobs to the Hudson Valley, with 164 additional jobs a year, during the 20 year construction plan.

The Wine Village would include a 103-room hotel, conference center, spa and restaurant, 450,000 square feet of industrial buildings for manufacturing, 155,000 square feet of office and commercial space and 800 residential units.
