If you're tired of the snow and cold then warmer temperatures are just around the corner.

Perfect timing for those who have a long weekend!

Meteorologists forecast that Thursday night and Friday will seasonally cold, but Saturday and Sunday will bring above average temps.

Saturday will be partly cloudy will highs in the upper 40s to near 50 degrees. Sunday will be even nicer with highs in the lower to mid 50s. Some parts of the New York City metropolitan area could see temps in the low 60s.

And while it's obviously too early to tell for sure, forecasters are saying most of next week should be mild and dry.

Now would be the best time for any outdoor activity, especially those who have wanted to go for a brisk run or a bike ride but were putting it off because of the cold.

Enjoy!
