The Hudson Valley is Home to the World’s Oldest Barber
From ABC 7
Have you heard about Vails Gate's Anthony Mancinelli?
He's been cutting hair since the age of 12, and he hasn't slowed down for over 90 years.
That's right, Mancinelli has been recognized in the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's oldest barber. He'll be 105 in just a few weeks, according to ABC 7.
Mancinelli works at least five days a week at Fantastic Cuts in New Windsor. He also still drives, lives alone, and even cuts his own hair. Salon owner Jane Dinezza said
His work is wonderful, he's got a heart of gold, he cares about the clientele, he cares about people
His 79 year-old son, Robert, said
It's amazing, it's hard to believe he's still going on. He's in better shape than I am.
