The GlassBarge is Making Stops in the Hudson Valley this June

A part of New York history will be barging through the Hudson River this upcoming June.

The GlassBarge out of Corning New York, will make a trip through it's company's history while making stops in the Hudson Valley.

Back in the 1800's the Brooklyn Flint Glass Company made the decision to move their company to Corning by traveling through the New York waterways. Today they are celebrating 150 years in service.

To celebrate they will taking the GlassBarge up the Hudson River following their original journey. On May 17th the GlassBareg will take off from Brooklyn making stops along the way with glass creating sessions.

June 8th through the 10th the GlassBare will be stopping in Poughkeepsie at Waraya's Park. Then between June 15th and June 17th the GlassBarge will be making a stop at the Hudson River Maritime Museum in Kingston.

The GlassBarge will be open at each location from 11am until 6pm and the event is free.
