Jedi younglings and adults from the dark side all descended upon the Poughkeepsie Galleria this weekend for an out-of-this-world cause.

To help raise gifts for kids living at The Children's Home of Poughkeepsie, the Boris & Robyn Show held a Star Wars party, complete with stormtroopers, droids and giveaways.

Children were invited to come in costume to compete for prizes. A young Princess Leia, A homemade Boba Fett bounty hunter and the Sith Lord in disguise, Emperor Palpatine, all walked away with the top prizes.

The 501st Legion was also in attendance, donating their time and posing for photos with everyone who donated. Also, Hudson Valley Comic Con and American SciTech added to the excitement with even more characters from the "Star Wars" universe.
