We spoke with the former guitarist for The Eagles about his famous rift with Don Henley and how Glenn Frey's death has affected their relationship.

Don Felder is a rock legend. As an integral part of The Eagles from 1974 to 1980 he wrote the music for such hits as "Hotel California," "Victim of Love," "One of These Nights" and many other Eagles classics. Of course his solo career has also given way to some incredible music, like the title track to "Heavy Metal."

But even with all of those accomplishments, Felder is most known for his infamous falling out with Glenn Frey and Don Henley. After a very long hiatus, Felder rejoined the Eagles for a reunion that ended in lawsuits and harsh words that pretty much eliminated any chance of reconciliation.

We spoke to Felder about the death of Glenn Frey and his thoughts about mending the relationship with Don Henley.

Don Felder is currently touring with a new group of musicians, playing the songs he and The Eagles made together in much happier times. You can catch An Evening At The Hotel California With Don Felder at the Paramount Hudson Valley in Peekskill on May 27.
