The 2nd Annual Wappingers Falls Halloween Parade and Festival is This Saturday

It's time to get dressed up and come out and celebrate with the 2nd annual Wappingers Falls Halloween parade and festival this Saturday from 11- 6 in the Village of Wappingers Falls. The ghoulish fun begins at 11 as the parade steps off from Elm Street and heads to Meiser Park.

According to the Hudson Valley News Network, parade co-organizers Donna Parish-Bischoff and Donna Davies are once again excited for this great event that they brought back to the Village. There will be floats with various scary themes, an illusionist, an Alice Cooper tribute band, and new this year a pet costume contest! Plus, a treasure hunt with Captain Jack, face painting, psychic readings and tarot readings, and a pumpkin patch with children receiving a free pumpkin. Various vendors will be on hand for the day as well.

If you are brave enough, don't miss the ‘Stories of Mischief and Misfortune Tour’ at the Meiser Homestead for a $10 donation which will help keep the homestead taken care of for years to come.
