The 2nd Annual Bark in the Park is this Saturday, Aug. 26, from noon to 5 pm at Morningside Park in Hurleyville. The Bark in the Park will benefit the Devoe-ted to a Cure Scholarship Fund, which was created in memory of Elizabeth "Jeannie" Devoe. The scholarship benefits Sullivan County high school students on their way to completing a degree in Veterinary Science

The Bark in the Park is a free community event open to the public. Bring your canine companions for a day of fun.  There will be vendors, canine games and contests,prizes, a tricky tray comprised from local businesses, K-9 demos, local speakers, pet adoptions , food, a free ice cream hour for children 12 and under, a D.J. and much more.

All dogs must be on a leash, and owners must be able to produce an up to date rabies certificate or tag. For more information about this Saurdays Bark in the Park, visit their facebook page.
