Texas Roadhouse and Golden Corral Opening Dates in Poughkeepsie

When will the Texas Roadhouse and Golden Corral restaurants open in Poughkeepsie? It looks like it will be very soon.

Construction has been happening all summer on Route 9 in Poughkeepsie on two new restaurants that will be opening soon. A Golden Corral is being built next to the Hampton Inn and just south of that some serious progress has been made to a new Texas Roadhouse restaurant.

In the past few weeks the front facade of the restaurant has been constructed including the iconic Texas Roadhouse neon sign. According to the restaurant chain's website, the Poughkeepsie Texas Roadhouse is scheduled to open this October.

While we're only weeks away from dining on Cactus Blossoms and Fried Pickles, it looks like we may have to wait a little longer to get our buffet on. The Golden Corral's website lists the new Poughkeepsie location but only says that it will be opening "soon." From the looks of it, progress on the Golden Corral building is a little further behind the Texas Roadhouse.
