Tax Rebate Checks In The Mail For Hudson Valley Homeowners

If you've been waiting for your school tax rebate, it's in the mail. Homeowners in the Hudson Valley can expect to have their checks this week. The Poughkeepsie Journal reports that rebate checks have already begun to appear in mailboxes across the state.

As we reported this summer, tax rebate checks will be going out to anyone who paid an increase in taxes to school districts that stayed within the property tax cap. This includes all districts in our area except for Dover, Tuxedo, Milbrook, Kiryas Joel Village, and Valley Central (Montgomery).
