Tupelo Honey

The theme for My Lost treasure, as Thanksgiving approaches, is food and drink.  I have to tell you, my facebook friend Matt Price and I really think alike.  I had already decided on this one when Matt sent it to me as a suggestion.  And the food today is honey...

We are still working on a places theme on My Lost Treasure.  It has been going on for a while, and I think it will be going for a while more.  There are so many songs about cities, towns, states, countries, etc. I never realized how many songs there are about southern cities, but there are a lot of them...

I guess Brown Eyed Girl was the first I remember of Van Morrison...and what a great song it is.  Then I heard Moondance, then I started listening to full Van Morrison albums. Tupelo Honey is one of my favorite Van Morrison albums, and one of my favorite songs...

Might just be one of the most romantic songs ever.  I just love Van.  I hope you like tonight's treasure as much as I do.
