...Oh my! It's a colorful group of movies out this weekend, including one released smack in the  middle of the week. Out on Wednesday the 13th is comedy, 'Let's Be Cops,' out of Friday the 15 is the star-studded action sequel, 'The Expendables 3' as well as the Sci-Fi, 'The Giver...

It's been some time since the last Meat at the Movies and we've missed a few things, so lets take a look back (insert wavy memory sequence here). Last week Marvel's 'Guardians of the Galaxy' was released to a huge excitement. Everyone who I talk to says it's one of the best if not the best Marvel movie out...

That's right folks, there's a movie out this weekend for everyone....well almost. For the purpose of me writing this there is. Lets start with the more mature movies, there are two of them, 'The Purge: Anarchy' and 'Sex Tape.' 'The Purge: Anarchy' is the sequel to last summer's number one movie about a criminal infested America where the government allows all criminal activity for nearly 12 hours.

Out this weekend is a movies that is both a sequel and a prequel. Yeah, let me explain, 'Dawn of the Planet of the Apes' is set before the original 'Planet of the Apes' yet after 'Rise of the Planet of the Apes.' I'm not quite sure who was in charge of the order but they need a stern talking to...

Of course the first summer blockbuster was last weeks 'Transformers: Age of Extinction.' Even though everyone figured it would be basically the same movie over again, once people saw Optimus Prime riding a T-Rex the movie was distended to make oodles of cash...

Super excited for this weekend's movie 'Transformers: Age of Extinction.' This is the first Transformers movie that does not star Shia Labeouf which is alright with me because he has been getting pretty weird lately. This new one stars good ol' Marky Mark, Mark Wahlberg...

There are a handful of movies being released this weekend but only one I'm excited about...that I'll probably still wait for DVD to see anyway and that's 'Jersey Boys.' Directed by Clint Eastwood, this story is based in the 60's follows the rise and fall of four Jersey boys, The Four Seasons...

Sequels and more sequels. '22 Jump Street' and 'How to Train Your Dragons 2' are two movies out this weekend making it an all around good time for all ages at the movies. '22 Jump Street,' the sequel to '21 Jump Street' (the remake of the TV series) stars the ladies favorite, Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill as undercover cops tasked to solve a case at a college after their successful undercover job

There is one movie to look into this weekend, the latest Tom Cruise action film, 'Edge of Tomorrow.' I'm sure we'll be seeing him run a lot in this movie too, since he has been doing a great job at running since the 80s. (I'll wait while you watch this montage...

There are two movies out this week that I've been looking forward to since I saw their first trailers: Disney's 'Maleficent' and 'A Million Ways to Die in the West.' I Think both these movies will do well in the box office this weekend, I think it's safe to say were defiantly into the time of the summer blockbusters...
