The Bardavon is one of the most beautiful and historic venues in the Hudson Valley, and they’ve had some great performers on their stage.

Mark your calendars now for the annual Celebration of Lights with The Bardavon 1869 Opera House in the City if Poughkeepsie on Dec. 4.  This is one of the most festive events in Poughkeepsie, and one of my favorite nights locally. The night kicks off with the parade at 6:30pm on Main Street and Garden Street which proceeds to the evening’s first Christmas tree lighting on Main, near Market Street.
