Surprise: It’s Free Ice Cream Day!

A local ice cream chain is giving away free ice cream on Thursday, April 30. Here's how to get yours.

Carvel is offering it's customers free ice cream cones from 3pm to 8pm on Thursday afternoon. It's their Free Cone Day and... wait for it... it gets even better. Sure, free ice cream is awesome, but what's even better is when it includes Nutella ice cream. That's right, you can choose between vanilla, chocolate or the awesomeness that is Nutella.

Besides enjoying free ice cream, customers can also help raise money for the American Red Cross by purchasing a $2 coupon book that contains $20 in ice cream savings. Proceeds will go towards disaster relief.

So get a free cone and feel good about helping your neighbors. It doesn't get tastier than that. Here are the locations in our area where you can get your free cone:
