Happy Birthday today (Jan. 17) to former Rolling Stones guitarist Mick Taylor. He’s 67. Also celebrating today is Kid Rock (45) and guitarist Fernando Von Arb of Krokus (63).

Taylor played with the band from 1969-1974, and is regarded by many Stones fans as the greatest guitarist ever to play with the band. He appeared on classic albums including Let It Bleed, Sticky Fingers, and Exile on Main St, and was ranked 37 on Rolling Stone magazine’s list of the 500 greatest guitarists of all time. Since November 2012 he has participated in Rolling Stone concerts including the “50 & Counting” World Tour. Former Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash cites Mick Taylor as a big influence. Mick Taylor and The Rolling Stones were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1989. The band ranked No. 4 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time and they have estimated worldwide record sales of over 200 million.
