Stars Wars Themed Bar Now Open in New York City

Star Wars Episode 8: The Last Jedi opens in theaters December 15, but for those who just can't wait for anything Jedi related, then you might be interested in this.

NY Eater is reporting that a new pop-up Star Wars themed bar has opened in SoHo on Lafayette Street. The DarkSide Bar will be hosting parties and other special events, such as  DJ nights and speed dating until January 14.

You can even dress up as one of your favorite Star Wars characters. So if you want to go as one of the red cloaked Imperial Guards, or maybe throw on some earmuffs and go as Princess Leia, then you're more than welcome.

You can get tickets online for $33 dollars ($40 at the door) and that includes two out of the six signature Star Wars themed cocktails with names like the Blue Force, The Dark Side, or the Mindtrick.

Sure, it's expensive to head all the way to Soho to drink some sort alcohol concoction based off Jabba the Hutt, but it's New York and everything's expensive anyway. Besides, maybe you're in Manhattan some night with your friends or spouse and want to try something different?
