St. Patrick’s Day Madness in the Hudson Valley

The Hudson Valley lined up to party with Boris & Robyn for St. Patrick's Day. Here are just some of the sights and sounds of the early celebration.

With a trip to Ireland to give away from CDT Travel, concert tickets and NY Lottery scratch-offs, it's no wonder everyone was up at the crack of dawn to party with WPDH at Sweeney's Irish Pub in Walden on St. Patrick's Day.

The listeners were invited to compete for prizes by following in St. Patrick's footsteps and driving the snakes out of Sweeney's. Armed with just a mop, listeners were timed to see how fast they could get rid of the stuffed snakes scattered throughout the bar.

In another contest two brave listeners volunteered to dunk their heads in Guinness and then see how many Lucky Charms marshmallows they could get stuck to their head.

Live music from the Big Strong Men, visits from attorney Jonna Spilbor and County Executive Steve Neuhaus and some authentic bagpipers rounded out a jam-packed morning of fun.
