St. Jude’s Benefit Saturday at Junior’s Lounge in Poughkeepsie

This Saturday (June 3), a special St. Jude's benefit night will take place at Junior's Lounge in Poughkeepsie.

Friend of the radio station Stephanie Lynn is having a birthday bash and she's turning it into a "Give for Another" Birthday event taking donations for St. Jude's from 5-8pm on Saturday with raffles, a 50/50, and live music from Vinny and the Cover Boys playing your favorite rock n roll cover songs. The band features great Hudson Valley musicians Tom Scalzo, Darrin Scalzo, Jeff Carano, and Billy Beehler. There will also be a free buffet from 6-8pm. "An hour to St. Jude's" will also be happening between 6:30 and 7:30pm where all the register receipts for the hour will be donated to St. Jude's courtesy of the Junior's staff.

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital was founded in 1962 and it's a pediatric treatment/research facility focused on children's catastrophic diseases. The hospital cost $2 million a day to run and no family ever pays for their child to go to the facility. Stop on out this Saturday to Junior's Lounge and make a donation for a great cause!
