Today (Sept. 3) marks the 25th anniversary of Judas Priest's 'Painkiller' album. We will feature tracks from this album today at 6:35pm.

Judas Priest's twelfth studio album, it was released on Columbia Records Sept. 3, 1990 and it was the last album to feature lead singer Rob Halford before his return in 2005 for the album Angel of Retribution. It was also the first album to feature drummer Scott Travis.

The album received a Best Metal Performance Grammy nomination at the 33rd Annual Grammy Awards in 1991.
