Sons of Anarchy Spinoff Announced

A spinoff of the hit FX show Sons of Anarchy featuring the Mayans MC is all set for production.

According to Entertainment Weekly, FX has confirmed that they will film a pilot episode of Mayans MC which will pick up where Sons of Anarchy left off. It will be written by Kurt Sutter and Elgin James. Production is set to begin in March and the proposed series would focus on the Mayans motorcycle club. The show will likely feature Emilio Rivera who played the role of Mayans club president Marcus Alvarez. He recently posted a message on social media that seemed to hint towards involvement in the show. Check out more on the story here.

As a big fan of Sons of Anarchy from the very beginning, this is something that I am really looking forward to. The series has potential to be huge, and I'm curious to see which of the original cast (if any) will be involved.
