We're all told to watch out for fake news. But who really would fall for something like this?

A New York branding agency owner decided to have a little fun on Instagram Monday when he posted a pretty obviously photoshopped pic of a new Fisher-Price product called the Happy Hour Playset.

In the doctored pic you can see a couple of child bar patrons, who are clearly enjoying themselves as they drink a plastic beer, while a no-nonsense toddler bartender sneers from behind his little plastic counter.

Whom wants this for Xmas? 😭🎁

Since then, the pic has been shared and reposted tens of thousand of times across social media by a bunch of folks who seem to understand it's all just a joke.

You do know it's just a joke, right?

Well, there's always going to be a few party poopers out there. Some weren't in on the joke apparently, and took to Fisher-Price's Facebook page to express their mortification.

Saw this and had to write. What the heck are you thinking? I hope to heaven that nobody buys this for their children it's sick....

Fisher-Price has said in an official statement that the Happy Hour Playset is “not endorsed, produced or approved.”

Glad they cleared that up.

The creator of the farce said he was inspired seeing his 2 year-old daughter sitting at kitchen counter like it was a bar. He simply thought the prank would be funny.
