Small Beer That’s Big On Taste (Sponsored)

This week's beer of the week on tap at Half Time is from Poughkeepsie's own Sloop Brewing.  Sloop describes themselves as a "nano brewery", and although their beers are brewed in very small batches, they certainly aren't small in taste. This is Sloop Brewing’s bold aggressive beer. The Red C contains three different hop varieties that begin with the letter “C”.  The beer has a deep red hue and stands at 6.7% abv.

Red C pours with a crimson red color and an effervescent white head.  The complex malt flavor comes from a variety of finely kilned grains.  The American hops provide the beer with hints of lemon, mango and citrus flavors.  The clean ale yeast allows your palate to correctly identify all of these complex flavors
