After stopping to pick up a suspicious package at the Highland post office, two local men are now under arrest facing felonies.  The Poughkeepsie Journal reports that Town of Lloyd Police were tipped off about a possible illegal delivery waiting at the Highland Post Office.

After police dogs confirmed that the package contained over 10 pounds of marijuana, police arrested the duo on Saturday not too far from the post office.  Rodney Lamb of Highland was charged with two felonies including first-degree criminal possession of marijuana and fourth-degree conspiracy. Robert Maxwell from Montgomery was charged with a felony of fourth-degree conspiracy and an additional misdemeanor of fourth-degree criminal facilitation.
