Another reason why dogs are awesome.

Luke Nuttall was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes when he was only two years old. According to his mother Dorrie, Luke hasn't been able to wake up on his own for four and half years

Luke's best friend is the family's black labrador service dog named, appropriately named Jedi. Just like something out of the Star Wars saga, Jedi helps watch over the seven-year old Luke. This is especially important when Luke sleeps, as Jedi has been trained to notify his mother if Luke's blood sugar drops too low.

This was the case recently as Dorrie Nuttali explained on their social media page,

Jedi had helped wake Luke's mom up and she was able to give him a glucose tab to raise his blood sugar levels.

Jedi had saved Luke. Good boy!
