Professional photographer, Bee Walker, finds inspiration by photographing the Hudson Valley.

In a video produced by Discover America, Walker is shown in various areas of the Hudson Valley explaining how she loves traveling from New York City to our area because it gives her a "change in perspective." The professional photographer was introduced to the Hudson Valley when she started commuting here from her parents' home in New Jersey to take pictures on the weekends.

Walker cites the "majestic mountains and running rivers" as some of the things that inspire her as a photographer. Shots of the Walkway over the Hudson and Shawangunk mountains are used to demonstrate the areas that Walker enjoys documenting in her photographs.

The video is part of a series of films produced by Discover America. Their Visit the U.S.A. website and YouTube channel was created in 2010 as a partnership between the tourism board and private travel companies to encourage visitors from all over the world to explore some of the more scenic areas of the United States.

What do you think about the Hudson Valley's depiction in this video. Does it inspire you to visit more areas of our region that you've been taking for granted?
