See Peter Frampton as You’ve Never Seen Him Before

Peter Frampton has played in our area several times over the past years.  But this April you will be able to see Peter differently than you have seen him in the past. Peter Frampton is bring his Raw Tour to the Hudson Valley.  It;s an acoustic bare bones show, and it is coming to the Ulster Performing Arts Center in Kingston on April 8.

I remember interviewing Peter Frampton over the phone right before he played our 30th anniversary concert.  He was so interesting, and a true gentleman.  He told me that he looked forward to meeting me after the show.  Fast forward to the night of the show.  It was magical.  Outside at Bowdoin Park.  It started out to be a stormy day, but by five o'clock the sun was out, and the show went on with no problems.  A bunch of people from the station wanted to get a bite to eat after the show, but I was hesitant because I thought I was going to meet Peter Frampton.  They laughed and said that wasn't going to happen. So I joined them.  The next day I found out that Peter asked to meet me.  Figures.
