We demonstrate the scientifically proven way to never fall down while walking on slippery ice.

That's right, there is a specific way to keep yourself upright while getting around on those icy Hudson Valley walkways and you can thank the penguins for figuring it out.

Lifehacker.com says that the reason most people take a spill on the ice is because our natural center of gravity is way off when walking the "normal" way. When you walk, you put put your legs out in front of your body, changing your center of gravity to the back. With all of your weight on your back foot, once it starts to slip it's almost impossible to recovery.

By hunching forward and shuffling your feet like a penguin, there is an equal distribution of weight, making it much easier to compensate for any slipping or sliding.
