We all remember the tragic limo crash that claimed the lives of 20 people in October 2018. The crash which ha[pend in the Capitol Region town of Schoharie was America's deadliest traffic accident since 2009.

Now, Governor Andrew Cuomo has issued new safety reforms for large passenger vehicles which pretty much means we might not be seeing stretch limos on the roads in New York state anymore.

ABC says that the move will ban "remanufactured limousines", which means stretch limos and stretch SUVs. The Governor Cuomo says:

We are advancing reforms that will give aggressive new powers that will allow authorities to take dangerous vehicles off the roads without delay...

Other new laws will require drivers of vehicles holding eight or more passengers to have special licenses.
