Save a Life, Give Blood

The title of this article is Save a Life, Give Blood.  The reality is that you can save three lives by giving blood.  And you will have the chance to do just that this Saturday in Newburgh.  It is a great way to kick off the new year.  You will get to help someone, and feel good about yourself at the same time.

The Christ Lutheran Church in Newburgh and the Red Cross will be holding a blood drive this Saturday, Jan. 9, from 9am-2pm.  the Christ Lutheran Church is located at 186 Fullerton Avenue.  Donating blood is safe, it takes only an hour of your time, and it can save up to three lives.   Appointments for the drive are not required, but can be made. Walk-ins are always welcome.
