San Francisco is taking their shot at a World Series title, well... seriously. The city has even gone so far as to ban a popular song until the Giants are victorious. CNN reports that the song 'Royals' by Lorde has officially been taken off the playlist at local radio station KFOG. Of course, Tuesday night at 8pm marks the beginning of the 2014 World Series between the Giants and the Kansas City Royals. Just to insure that no one is rooting for the Royals, this song will not be heard in the San Francisco area for the duration of the series:

In Kansas City, however, they can't seem to get enough of the song. Local alternative station, The Point, has announced that they will play "Royals" at the top of every hour when the series kicks off.

Of course, Lorde was not available for comment, as she is busy being a 45-year-old man:
