Fans of Geddy Lee will want to mark this date on their calendars.

The Rush frontman is releasing a book just in time for the holidays called Geddy Lee’s Big Beautiful Book of Bass. As the title suggests, the book is a compilation of the hundreds of bass guitars owned by the rock and roll legend.

Lee wrote the book as a way to show off his collection of 205 vintage and rare bass guitars. The 408-page book also includes interviews with some world-renowned bass players like John Paul Jones, Adam Clayton, Robert Trujillo, Bill Wyman, Les Claypool and Bob Daisley.

To promote the new book, Lee will be traveling to a few stores during a short book tour where he'll chat with fans and sign copies of the new release. The very first location was just announced, and it's incredibly close to us right here in the Hudson Valley.

On Tuesday, December 18, Geddy Lee will be appearing at Bookends on 211 East Ridgewood Avenue in Ridgewood, NJ. The book signing will begin at 5 pm, but fans should check the book store's website soon for pre-registration information. A recent event with Roger Daltrey in October sold out of books before the signing even began.
