Rosendale Festival This Weekend

This weekend you can find Murali Coryell, Lara Hope & The Ark-Tones and the Paul Green Rock Academy among the 70-plus live bands performing this weekend in Rosendale (in Ulster County)

On July 19 and 20, Main Street is closed to traffic; music begins at noon. Also check out the Reel Expressions Youth Film Festival at the Rosendale Theatre, a drum circle and a flag-making station so you can make your own Stars and Stripes to wave at the ending parade at 5:45 p.m. Sunday.  Plus plenty of vendors selling food, goods, etc.

Hours are 12noon to 9pm on Saturday and 12noon to 7pm on Sunday.  It's along Main Street, the section of Route 213 that extends west of Route 32 and through the heart of town. Only foot traffic will be allowed.

Admission: Free although there is a $5 donation suggested. Profits will support music programs for children.
