Have you seen this dog anywhere in the Hudson Valley? A reward was just increased to $1,500 for anyone that finds him.

On June 7 the Middletown Humane Society reported a 4 month old Shepherd mix named Izzy missing along with a 5 month old kitten named Fiona. According to the group's Facebook page the humane society was burglarized in the middle of the night and the animals were taken.

Heartbroken workers at the shelter put the word out and asked for any information leading to the animals' return. Thousands of people shared their plea on Facebook and on June 10 Fiona was found abandoned on Mountain Avenue in Middletown.

Izzy, however has still not been found. The dog a 4 month old neutered and microchipped Shepherd mix. If you have any information about Izzy's whereabouts, the Humane Society has requested that you contact the Wallkill police department at (845) 692-6757.

Originally the reward for the return of the animals was $500. Donations quickly increased the number to just shy of $1 thousand. Now, with Izzy still out there, supporters have bumped the reward up to $1,500.
