Looks like the Hudson Valley has one more day of rain before things start to clear up. Then, the area should see a sunny start to December with seasonable temperatures.

Rain and fog will start the day Wednesday, with highs in the 50s. Wednesday night will bring heavy rainfall across the region with lows hovering between the lower 50s to upper 40s.

Some parts of the Hudson Valley could see a couple inches of rain which will be bring at least some relief to drought-stricken areas.

The first day of December will see clearing skies with highs in the upper 40s and lows in the lower 30s.

This will pretty much set the temperature trend for the next week as we enter the final weeks of autumn.

Will we have a white Christmas this year? Still way too ealry to say. Long range forecasts are still calling for a colder than average winter with above average snowfall.
