The beginning of this week should start out a lot quieter than the beginning of last week when severe thunderstorms rolled though the region.

There is a slight chance of rain through the middle of the week, but aside from that skies should be mostly sunny with highs in the 70s. Lows will be in the 50s.

Thursday brings the first real threat for thunderstorms as highs near 80 and lows in the low 60s.

Friday will see the best chance for thunderstorms as more humid weather returns.

Granted, it's way too ealry to tell, but the Fourth of July weekend should be seasonably warm with a chance of afternoon thunderstorms. nothing to get too worried about of course, because this is pretty normal for this time of year.
